First 200 miles report 12/20/2003

After riding this bike for the first 200 miles I can say it is sweet. Yes it rolls over bumps a lot softer than my other SWB and it tracks well at crusing speeds it also holds a line very well in the corners. I find my self pushing a bigger gear going up the local bridges Also there is I no flex from the frame when climming or sprinting. I went for a 50 miles ride and came back pain free I did experience some numbness in my feet but no more than with my other SWB.

3,000 miles report 9/5/04

I have been riding my Super Strada for over 3,000 miles. This thing can go, handling is predictable and very confortable . After upgrading the seat to a M5 and wheels to 650 ALX 300 Tri I can cruise at 16 to 18 mph for long distances. These upgrades are a must for increasing performance on stock strada. I got this bike for doing long distance riding in confort and as fast as my fitness alows. This bike handles very good in group rides and mixes well with DF very well, and with the addition of the M5 seat I now have a solid base to push from. It has improved my sprints and climbing a lot..
