| Shadow, Buffy, Bumper, and Scrappy, are only four of so many animals who come into this world each year without a home. I believe it was meant to be for us to find them. They've given us so many unforgettable years, and we in turn, have provided a haven for them. We give them all the love we have, make sure they are always safe and warm. Unfortunately, not all animals are lucky enough to find their way into a home. Perfectly healthy animals - ones who are starved for attention, companionship, and love - are losing their lives because there are simply not enough homes for them! Spay and neuter your animals! OUR MIRACLE BABIES ABOVE! We had to fight to get them healthy...and look at them now! Just one more thing! Please be very careful when offering free puppies and kittens in the newspaper, online......wherever. A while ago, I was informed of a group named PAW, People Against Waste. I never saw it, but apparently they had a sight on the internet, but recieved so many complaints, that they were eventually kicked off. No one is sure what state they are running this "business" out of, but they believe in using cats dogs for food and clothing, and often get them them from people who are giving away puppies and kittens for free. IF YOU KNOW ANY MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE "PAW" GROUP, PLEASE E-MAIL ME For those of you who have a black cat, like my Bumper, please take extra special care of your Feline friends. There are a lot of sick people out there who look for black cats to use as sacrifices. Most animal shelters refuse to even let black cats be adopted during Halloween because of this problem. Outdoor cats have a much greater chance of having their life cut short. They get into fights with other animals, they are hit by cars, they get lost, are stolen, etc. |
