In mid 1985 ~ while we were living in New York ~ my brother came home from school, asking if he could bring home a Guinea Pig from school. His Science teacher was looking for homes for a few, and my parents quickly agreed to let one move in with us. We quickly fell in love with her unique look ~ her all white body with little grey ears, and her red eyes.

Our family moved to Virginia not too long after, and we were staying in a hotel for a few days. Buffy and Rhoda were there as well, and the cleaning person refused to make up our room!

BACK TO LOVED ONES

She was a very healthy little girl, and loved her fruits and veggies ~ especially carrot shavings. As soon as she heard the vegetable peeler being used, she'd start squealing, and run to the kitchen as fast as her little legs could take her.

Rhoda lived a long and healthy life, and will be remembered forever.
