| Shadow was quite timid around strangers, our other animals, and the two men in our house. My mother and I were honored that he felt safe with us. He loved to stretch himself out on our legs, knead (he was the original "fat finder"), and give wonderful headbuts. If you found him in a good mood, anyone could get him talking. |
