Myatuk, Alaskan Malamute,
dogs, breeders, pictures, alaska, sled dogs, working dogs, familyMyatuk Malamutes
will show you if this dog is right for you with breeders standards, family pictures
and much more. Our goal is not to have the Myatuk name known for the amount
of dogs we breed or the number of dogs seen in conformation with the Myatuk
name. Our goal is to have the Myatuk name stand for quality and good breeding
practices. Our first consideration is always good temperament, married with
good health and proper structure. When someone purchases a Myatuk puppy, we
want them to know they have a puppy that is free of genetic problems and will
conform to the AKC Alaskan Malamute standard in size and structure. We believe
a bitch needs at least a year to regain her healthy condition after producing
a litter of puppies. A bitch not in condition will not produce healthy puppies.
For that reason, we wait 18 months between breedings of a single bitch. All
our puppies are whelped and raised in our home in a clean and loving atmosphere.
We believe socialization begins at birth so each puppy is

handled both by dam and us. Supplemental feeding starts at birth to insure healthy
puppies and provide human scent. Puppies are introduced to daily household noises
and situations at appropriated times of growth. They are also introduced and
encouraged to play with adult dogs when they reach the proper age. All these
things will insure a well-adjusted, happy puppy when they go to your home. All
puppy buyers will be provided with copies of certificates from the Orthopedic
Foundation for Animals, Inc., Canine Eye Registration Foundation and the AMCA
Chondrodysplasia Certification Committee for both the dam and sire along with
pictures of both sire and dam. A booklet containing a five generation pedigree,
birth records of your puppy, inoculations provided and other valuable information
is also provided when you take your puppy home. We look for homes that will
provide a happy, healthy environment and will make our puppies a part of their
family. All of our dogs share our house when we're home. We expect our puppy
buyers to do the same. We are always available for questions, training advice
or anything else you may need.
