Use blend for the eyebrow faces. Place the skin map in the first slot then the eyebrow tex in the second slot and the opacity map in the third slot. This may sound vaque, but when you look at it you will understand. I seem to be having a LARGE problem and I hope someone can help.I am particularly interested in creating human faces and have not encountered any great problems in modelling the face itself. However, when it comes to texturing, all sort of problems are cropping up. I am using the Shag:Hair plugin to create the eyelashes but when it comes to the eyebrows, the problems are really happening. I have come to the conclusion that the eyebrows would be better accomplished with a detailed diffuse/opacity/bump map but I can't get it to work. I have created a basic skin texture using a cellular procedural. I have also created a collection of diffuse/opacity/bump maps in Photoshop. All I need to accomplish is to put the eyebrow onto the model. I have tried loads of variations of multi/sub object but the best I can achieve is the eyebrow appearing against a black background of the selected faces.. I am obviously on the wrong track....Can anyone point me in the right direction? I am usin R3.1.
