Unfortunately, as was the case for my school, the teachers are often clueless on what the students really should know to get jobs in the real world. I had to learn EVERYTHING on my own. Go to: www.planethalflife.com/coldfusion They have tutorials that will walk you through modeling a low poly character, skinning, animating, and finally compiling for halflife if you want to see it in action. They are VERY basic and actually a very good start if your not that experienced yet, but be sure to go through them slowly so you have time to develop your own techniques. To make it as realistic as possible you'll have to practice your skinning techniques. It took me a very long time to get past the frustration, but now I love painting skins in photoshop. Hope this helps. -BT EW> Are there any good tutorials for those of us with minimal experience in EW> max that cover polygon modeling a realistic human character from start EW> to finish ANYWHERE out there.
