How many polys is the object I'm looking at? What's the texture size?? How long did it take to do this? 9 times out of 10, I'm left asking these questions after looking at portfolios/demos. One thing that game developers (actually anyone for that matter) love is to be able to quickly acess someones ability with a look. I would also have at least two different renderings of an image- one wireframe, one texture mapped (One that's shaded and not texture mapped wouldn't hurt either). My last comment may be completely irrelevant since it may be a half-life thing, but the animation of the pirate doing the karate stuff seemed out of character. I was expecting to see him in swordplay, running, walking- something that shows his character. The karate just didn't seem to work. BTW, wasn't that animation a default Character Studio motion file? Anyway, my two carrots worth...
