Just thought this might interest a few of you on this list. Yesterday I downloaded a plugin for 3ds max 1 and 2 which can export  max files and animation to a java applet / screen saver. Not bad huh. It is better that VRML since the person viewing it does not need additional plug-in. You can get it from http://www.anfyteam.com
