I have OpticPro 12000T and I am satisfied with it. It also has a transparent
adapter so you can scan slides and negatives. The only problem is the speed
at high resolutions (1200dpi without interpolation). It is the best scanner
in its class. It costs
about 130$.

Don't buy HP scanners
Don't look at interpolated resolution
