Give me a break. You guys are acting like the FLASH program is somehow responsible for the web-sites being made with it. Don't blame the tool for the work. It's not FLASH you dislike, it's the work being done with it. Most of the Flash work and web-pages are the same these days because it's a relatively new product. People see a Flash animation that they like and they try to emulate it. Hence 2,000 sites with similar design. But it was the same way with 3D software. Cripes, a few years back, how many times did someone call you over to a computer and say, "YOU GOTTA SEE THIS!" and then point to a screen filled with shiny chrome balls hovering over a reflective checkered floor. We're still at the chrome ball stage of Flash. Give it time. I've seen some amazing interfaces created with Flash. Simple. Fast. Visually stunning. Check out http://www.blastradius.com I've been back to that site dozens of times, just cuz it's interesting to look at. I can't say that for many sites. Flash made that site possible. It didn't make that site. Someone using Flash did. Skewer him, not the tool.
