The pics are in bmp
format and when viewed in PaintShop pro they look like 2 pictures were
taken then superimposed on each other.
I suspect the left and right images are not simply
"superimposed," but are something like: Left
image: scan lines 1,3,5,7,... Right
image: scan lines 2,4,6,8,...
