hi all
I just recently got a video card that came with led
shutter glasses. Asus V6600.. I just had to try the sample stereo picks that
came with it.
Now I am going nuts. I have tried to duplicate the
process. And to say the least it is not going well.
The pics are in bmp format and when viewed in
PaintShop pro they look like 2 pictures were taken then superimposed on each
other. I can understand the need for 2 cameras etc but try as I might I can not
make a pic that will have this effect in the viewer.
I am trying with just a simple scene just the
teapot and lights 2 cameras looking at a dummy which I have located in the
teapot, also tried at several locations beyond the teapot. Both cameras look at
the same dummy, just guessing at that cause our eyes work like that. I then have
tried compositing the 2 renderings (one from each camera) and while I can make
an image that to me looks basically like the sample images. When I try to view
them they look the same with or without the glasses.
I anyone has made these kind of pics or knows of
links or anything that might give me a place to start. I would really appreciate
the info..
