The cool thing is how it tracks the video while it plays. It also works with all DirectX plug-ins.  It's great for adding effects and doing final mixes BUT Sonic Foundry has or is about to release Vegas Pro which has moved from being an audio only app to an audio video app. There are many video effects included and the beauty is it's software based so that you don't have to work through a capture card. You can download a demo which will work for a couple months with no limitations. You can save projects and render with no red-x's. It's worth a try.
