It seems that the biggest culprits were moving the digital audio from the DAT it was recorded on to a MiniDV deck then into our computer via Premiere. Also, the imbedded sound chip on our Dell's motherboard isn't perfoming up to any reasonable level of expectation. Now, onto our most recent catastrophe. This is not my area, I just make the movies, but I'm trying to help out our software guys. I hope some of you real gurus out there can help us. We have packaged and bundled our software, created with Authorware 5.1. Now when running the program segments individually, all the Quicktime (Sorensen 2.0) movies (3D animations from Max and digital video captures) work perfectly. However, when bundled with the kernels and run as a complete unit off of the CDs, the movies sporadically fail. One movie will work fine in one location, and in another it will fail. We are at a loss as to why this is happening. All the movies are formatted identically, resolution, format, compression, FPS. I was hoping that some of you may be familier with this issue and can offer some assistance as how we might be able to fix it. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide, Please respond directly to this email.
