Definately goto Microsoft.com and get the Windows 2000 readiness analyzer, it will check all your hardware and tell you if any of it is incompatible. That's probably the biggest problem you might have... Max3.1/Photoshop run quite nicely on Windows 2000. If you have Digimation plugins make sure to get their new DigiServer update.
