Date: Wednesday, March 15, 2000 12:07 PM Does anyone know if Max 3 is Windows 2000 compatible? I've heard rumours that it works fine under Windows 2000 (I can't really see why it wouldn't), but are there are major or minor problems one should know about before making the switch? We're swallowing the bullet and buying two more licenses of Max -- but the two new work-stations are both juiced up with Windows 2000 Professional. I haven't had enough time to research the differences between Windows 2000 and Windows NT (apart from the obvious cosmetic changes) so I'm a little unsure how the performance is going to be affected. I realize that 2000 will probably be slower than NT (such is the nature of any operating-system upgrade)...but as with every major Windows update, it's either keep up or get left behind when new drivers and stuff start flooding in only for the new product...
