There's a modifier called FFD select which lets you select and leave selected the control points on an ffd space warp.
I don't think you can do it with the modifier version of FFD.

no solutions, but how did you link the control points? I remembered it could be done & was trying to show a student yesterday, but couldn't make it work. I selected the control point, added the LinkedXform, but the subobject didn't stay on...

Hi All
got a tricky one - I have a Biped on a treadmill, with the treadmill slowing to a stop (so "In Place" mode wont work). I have an FFD which pulls the character mesh in the opposite direction to the biped and all is working beautifully, except that the mesh ripples/vibrates (not too badly, and only along the axis that the mesh is being pulled, but it still doesn't look good at all). The FFDs control points are Linked Xformed to a Dummy. I definitely don't want to use freeform, as there is too much animation to key it all by hand. Anyone got any ideas?
