Now that I've _finally_ come to grips with unwrap, unwrap+, and Multi-sub-object UVW mapping I've got another pretty specific question -- that maybe a couple of you have had experience with before. I was curious if there's a way I could planar-map a texture onto a character, then do something to convert this texture to some other form, for example a series of cylinders (1 for each limb). Then edit the resulting bitmaps in a paint program in order to get rid of the stretching you get from planar-mapping. I'll probably use other mapping methods for this and future characters, but the above method seems like a good time saver that could quickly take you from color-mock-up to full unstretched textures. Thanks!
