Could anyone direct me to a good resource on how to map a
character in Max, or explain how to do it?
Actually I'd like to have more details on how the low-poly
characters for game are mapped. Is the mesh exploded in different sub-meshes
with a UVW gizmo for each, (e.g arm, leg, torso, head...) or is there a way to
map the whole model with different UVW's gizmo's (Im' thinking of a
multi/sub-object material, for instance)?
Also, I could make good use of explanations on what is vertex
color and how to use it (the max manual says : if you don't know what it is, you
don't have to use it, if you use it, you know how.Pretty short)
