From: Richard Katz To: 'Brad A Newman' ; 3dsmax@engramdigital.com <3dsmax@engramdigital.com> Subject: RE: Rotational End Effectors not animating...HELP Date: Tuesday, April 25, 2000 2:20 PM You cannot key end effectors in max. They are a means of attaching bone chains to helper or world objects. I usually "link" (in the motion panel - NOT with Max's link tool) the end effector to a dummy object and key the dummy's position and/or rotation. Don't forget to turn down the thresholds in the motion panel on the bones (to 0 or 0.01) so the end effectors stick to the dummy objects. ... richard katz artist the 3do company > -----Original Message----- > From: Brad A Newman [mailto:bnewman@iastate.edu] > Sent: Tuesday, April 25, 2000 1:31 PM > To: 3dsmax@engramdigital.com > Subject: Rotational End Effectors not animating...HELP > > > Anyone know why when you rotate a rotational end effector in > a bones chain > in MAX it doesnt create a key frame?? > I'm banging my head against the wall on this one. > > -Brad Newman > > -- > Subscribe/Unsubscribe at: > http://mail.engram.net/guest/RemoteListSummary/3DSTUDIOMAX > List courtesy of http://www.Engram.net > -- Subscribe/Unsubscribe at: http://mail.engram.net/guest/RemoteListSummary/3DSTUDIOMAX List courtesy of http://www.Engram.net
