From: Jay Muchhala To: 3DSMAX@EngramDigital.com <3DSMAX@EngramDigital.com> Subject: Character Studio Problems Date: Tuesday, April 25, 2000 10:03 PM Hey guys -- I was hoping someone could help me out with this. I physiqued a mesh to a biped then was working on refining it when at some point it got a little screwy... The physique modifier now slides in comparison to the biped, so the character's skin will sometimes during the animation end up in front of the biped itself, sometimes behind. It's almost like it's got a 'lag' modifier... Here's an image which should explain the problem better: http://thunder.prohosting.com/~muchhala/problems.jpg I saved various versions while I worked and it happened about 1/2 way thru editting the physique modifier... in my previous saved versions there's no sliding... Did I accidentally switch Physique into 'Lag' mode? Or is there something else I'm missing? Has anyone else experienced something similar before?? Thanks -- Jay ps Again -- the biped itself is acting normal. The orange lines that represent Physique's bone assignments are sliding. In comparison to the biped's bones. And the skin of course follows physique's orange-lines, not the bones... ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com -- Subscribe/Unsubscribe at: http://mail.engram.net/guest/RemoteListSummary/3DSTUDIOMAX List courtesy of http://www.Engram.net
