We sometimes get caught up in the latest etc but how many new features were added in Max 3.. And how many features were carried over from 2 to 3.. heck how many features have been carried from Max 1 right through to Max 3.. For $15 can one go wrong. I know I use and search all my books when I get stuck or get an idea.. My Max 2 books are still often used.. Granted that is just me.
