Date: Saturday, April 08, 2000 8:09 AM Hi All: I use LSX-MPEG Encoder. It is really fast (MMX and multiprocessor support) and it compress avi's to MPEG1 and MPEG2 (but it is not very cheap). Try a demo: www.ligos.com Also, this technology (gomotion codec) is bundled with some video editing cards. In the other hand, dued to avi standard format limitation to 2 GB size, you can not create bigger AVI file sizes for compressing (a hard limitation on duration and quality of my videos). I know that there is a workaround to this limitation ¿Anyone on this list does know the solution? Hi Willi, Maybe you should try MPG , 240x176 . I'm using avi2mpg1 and it works very nice. You can get it here http://www.mnsi.net/~jschlic1/ good luck -- Nelson Nascimento Multimedia Artist ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Trivision http://www.trivision.com.br/necon ICQ# = 11413334 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ -- Subscribe/Unsubscribe at: http://mail.engram.net/guest/RemoteListSummary/3DSTUDIOMAX List courtesy of http://www.Engram.net -- Subscribe/Unsubscribe at: http://mail.engram.net/guest/RemoteListSummary/3DSTUDIOMAX List courtesy of http://www.Engram.net
