| Wash rice well in cold water. Let soak in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking. Drain the rice well and let sit for 10 minutes without water. Heat oil a bit in a pot or a deep frying pan. Add rice and salt. Stir to coat the rice with the oil. Turn down to a low flame Pour bioling water over the rice until it reaches 1" above the rice surface. Keep on a low flame and covered until the water is absorbed and the rice is done. Do not stir. Stir the rice once after you take it off the flame. |
