Shepard's Pie
Prepare all vegetables ( grate carrots, slice onions, tomatoes and potatoes ), chop celery & parsley.

In a bowl with the ground beef, add grated onion, celery, parsley, salt & pepper. Mix well with hands.

Grease a medium sized casserole. Divide the meat mixture and press 1/2 of it into the bottom of casserole until the whole bottom is covered evenly.

In a frying pan, heat oil and saute onion slices until brown.

Top the meat with 1/2 of potato slices.
Top the potatos with 1/2 the tomato slices.
Salt slightly.
Top the tomatoes with the sauted onion slices.
Top the onions with all the corn evenly.
Top the corn with the grated carrots evenly, press down tightly.
Top the carrots with the rest of potato slices.

With palms take little parts of the meat mixture and flatten like hambergers. Place each 'patty' piece on top of the potatoes like a puzzle until the whole surface is covered. Press together to close holes.

Pour in can of soup. For the last layer, lay the rest of the tomatoe slices over surface, or chop them and scatter. Mashed potatoes make a fine top layer also. Don't forget to make train tracks in them before baking!
OR...you can top those mashed potatoes with crushed potato chips! heh

Cover with aluminium foil. Bake at 200 C for 2 hours. Remove aluminium foil and bake for another 35-45 minutes until browned.
