Steak & Stringbeans
Heat olive oil in a medium sized soup pot. Add steak slices and saute until browned. Add onion, tomato, garlic, paprika, salt and pepper. Stir and continue to saute for another 3 minutes. Add wine and cover for 1 minute.

Add about 2 pounds of French string beans ( fresh or frozen ) and cover with water ( about 8 cups ). Stir in tomato paste and bring to a slow, but constant boil. Let water evaporate, leaving the pot uncovered until a only 1 1/2" of sauce is left on bottom.

Stir only a few times in last stages as not to burn accidentally or shake pot to see if all is loose. Check where water level is by taking pot off the flame and moving ingredients aside with wooden spoon.
