Sloppy Joes
3 T oil
1/2 kilo ground beef
1 medium sized onion
( chopped )
1/4 t salt
1/2 t ground pepper
1/2 t paprika
1/4 t chilli powder ( more may be added according to personal taste )
1/2 t crushed garlic
3 T tomato paste
2 C water
In frying skillet heat oil, add onion and ground beef.

When half browned add all spices. Continue frying on high fame and breaking up until nicely browned but not dry.

Add water and tomato paste. Cover and let evaporate on low flame until thick and doesn't run.

Serve on hamburger buns or in Pita Bread. Great for a fast lunch!
