Mya's Oatmeal Cookies
1 C raisins
3/4 C water
1/4 C Cognac
1 C butter flavored margerine
2 C brown sugar
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
3 C raw oats
1 C walnuts ( chopped )
1 t baking soda
1/2 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1 t cinnamon
2 C flour
Soak raisins in 3/4 C water and 1/4 C cognac for at least an hour.

In a mixing bowl, cream margerine, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and raisins, mix well.

Form a ball with hands blending the mixture together. Drop by teaspoonfull onto lightly greased cookie sheet 1" apart.

Bake at 200 C until golden brown, or until no moisture shows in the middle. About ten minutes depending on your stove.

NOTE; These are the most delicious oatmeal cookies I have ever personally tasted, if I do say so myself. :) No way can you eat just 10!
