Mya's Amazing Almond Cookies
Cream margerine and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add vanilla, egg, almond extract and brandy. Beat until smooth.

Sift in the dry ingredients and beat until all is blended. Form the dough into a ball with your hand. Pinch off enough dough to roll into a 1" ball. Roll 60 balls.

Preheat oven to 200C.

Place balls on an ungreased baling sheet 1 1/2" apart. Push an almond onto the top of each ball.

Bake until light golden. Remove from cookie sheet and cool on a rack or flat tray.
1 C butter flavored margerine
1 1/2 C white sugar
1 t vanilla
1 egg
1 T almond extract
2 T brandy
3 1/4 C flour
1 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1/4 t baking soda
60 roasted almonds
