| 1 C margerine 1 C brown sugar 1/2 C white sugar 3 eggs 1 t vanilla 1 1/2 C chocolate chips 3 C flour 1 1/2 t baking powder 1/4 t baking soda 1/2 t salt Powdered sugar |
| Cream margerine and sugars together in mixing bowl. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Sift in flour and add chocolate chips, baking powder and soda and salt. Mix until a thick dough-like batter is formed. Scoop into a geased cake pan and smooth out until even. Bake at 160 C on low rack until brown and center is hard. Let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm or cold. This recipe is great with butterscotch chips, too! 1/2 C walnuts may be added to batter if desired. |
