| Apple Nut Spice Cake |

| Cream together margerine, sugars and eggs until smooth. Add spices, flour, baking powder and sour cream. Blend until smooth, add milk and mix well.. Pour into round, greased cake pan. Mix chopped nuts and 1/2 C brown sugar together in a bowl. With fingers, sprinkle over entire cake surface. Peel apples and cut into fourths. Slice and stick them into the cake surface, but not too deep. This will also push the nut mixture into the cake just a bit, forming an amazing topping. Bake at 160 C oven on low rack until golden brown and knife comes out clean. |
