Spontaneous shatter of water on its residence
Appreciated for a God sent gift of renewed chance
Interrupted by a disturbance of violent pounding ~
Lightning of angry bolts and magnificent disaster
Bewildered creatures escape for protection from a different kind
Not from a vicious predator or a heartless human but,
From a brother ~ nature of weather
A miraculous morning awakes from invisible damage
An emotional web has been spun of intertwined forgiveness and hate
To be forgotten and never heard of again
