COLD, DARK AND MOTIONLESS
Cold, dark and motionless
The spirit has abondoned his bodily figure
A man asleep for eternity
Not realizing death was triggered.

Peaceful, alone and passionless
Dressed with no place to go
He now is free in his permanent bed
His significance, only God knows.

Sad, depressed and tearful
Families gather to mourn
A man they once greatly knew
Is now deceased, their hearts torn.

Serene, quiet and unconstrained
The mortal will finally rest in peace
No pain, danger or life's miseries will wake him
He can continue his demise with ease.
