ABOUT ME

My name is Major Toe Aung. I’m 37 years old (Now 40 years). I currently work for Directorate of Signal, in Myanmar. I am a communication officer (wireless), and have been working there for eleven years, my experience in IT is only six years. My work includes telecommunication, data communication.

I hold a degree in History from the University of Yangon, Myanmar and the certificates of IT from some IT companies of Yangon.

	We are learning to on-line course first time from Myanmar. We are pioneers.  Everyone has interested upon our course. I think that training course will be useful and help for my present work.
	I have been asked to participate in this course by my employer, because they want me to set up a department within the organization to create distance-learning material.
	I hope to discover the secrets of creating distance-learning material, and to use this to train two members of staff. I personally feel that distance education will make a big impact on the level of competence in certain key areas within our organization.
