~Tiny Beaver At Play~
Look at the tiny beaver
As he chews upon the bark
Just simply watching as he munches
Its really quite a lark.

These two large teeth of his
They stick way out in front
And all you can hear are little noises
For as hes chewing, yes..thats a grunt!

Now for me Im laying really low
As among the tall grass I do hide
For I know that if he sees me
Back into the water hell glide.

For beavers are quite bashful
And hard workers too they say
But myself Im really thinking
This tiny one has come out to play.

I watch him scampering all about
Hes running to and fro
Now hes going round in circles
Trying to catch his tailyou know.

But then all of a sudden
He comes to a complete stop
Then he jumps back in the water
And I hear a resounding Plop!

I see another beaver head
Appearing in the river
It mustve have been his momma
Saying Cmon its time for dinner.

So, sometime if youre lucky
Maybe you too can say
Today I really had so much fun
As I watched a tiny beaver play.
