A nice tall glass of lemonade
So refreshing does it taste
It's quite delightful on my tongue
Not a drop will go to waste.
On these lazy summer afternoons
When the temperature starts to soar
I crave some nice cool lemonade
Oh, I must go pour some more.
For I find I just can't do without
My, that just wouldn't do
I think I'll have another glass
And maybe even two.
Now if you come to visit
A glass for you I'll pour
Wait, is that a knock I hear?
Could you be at my door?
A nice tall glass of lemonade
And a world without a care
Would make these lazy days such fun
When you have a friend with which to share.
