10/8/02 As I always want to learn a music instrument. After 911, I realize how important to accomplish as many dreams as you live. So finally I put words into action, I started taking music lesson since Mar 2002. I could never imagine how wonderful it feels to follow the notes and express my feeling thru melody. Hope you enjoy the music I play on my website cover :) 9/11/01 As an alien New Yorker, life is tough enough to work and live in this city alone. We all just try to earn our living and to live on. It's just speechless to describe the grieve, confusion and shockness to see this kind of madness human-caused disaster. Watching the dark big cloud out of smoke over downtown Manhattan, just broke my heart, spirit and bring tears to my eyes. When I felt all hopeless, powerless, helpless, alone and no one to turn to, thank you God is with me. Thank you the phone call from my mom in Hong Kong. It does help comfort me and make me know that I am not all alone in NYC. The scenes are horrify and every New Yorkers right now are personally experiencing this terrible time. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to my fellow New Yorkers. Keep up the faith, this shall pass and we will live on stronger. 8/14/01 A friend saw my website and found out that I wanted to go to Six Flag Great Adventure. Therefore, we went there yesterday! The weather forcast said yesterday supposed to be raining and T-storm. I was so worried on Sunday night. I kept praying and hoping-please no rain. What a miracle! It turned out to be a perfect day to go to Six Flag. When we were in Safari park, a monkey jumped on my friend car, pulled out the side mirror and ran away. Bad monkey! We have watched all the fabulous shows:High Diving, Stunt show and Concert. Of course, we went on so many rides and Nitro top them all. Thank you God for the beautiful weather and thank you my friend for making it happen! :) 8/1/01 Sorry, I was not in a mood for updating my website throughout July due to some personal matter. Finally, now once again, I'm picking up my pen to write again. On my birthday weekend, a good friend from Maryland came over and took me out for a Huge lobster dinner. My mouth actually got tired by eating the entire lobster. Hmm... delicious! Then we walked around NYC and saw a movie "Momento"(Imagine if u keep forgetting things...). Thank you very much my dear friend for coming over to cheer me up. It's a very special weekend! On the weekend of 7/14, I went to visit my 2nd cousin in NJ. We went to see "King and I" in a outdoor theater. It was a wonderful experience. Perfect weather to be outdoor that evening to watch the show. The best part is I can eat my sandwich, chips and cherry while we were enjoying the show. Every year I have been saying that I will be going to Six Flag Great Adventure. However once again the plan got cancel. Oh boy. Let see if I can go there later on before this summer end. GoodBye 6/16/01 I just come back from my trip to San Juan (Puerto Rico). I stayed there from 6/11-6/15. It was a very interesting experience because this is the 1st time I traveled by myself. Due to the off season, not many tourists was there. I enjoyed the Sun and the swimming the most. Yes, I did get a nice tan as I always wanted. I will put my pics here as soon as the films are developed. I also went to a rainforest and the old San Juan. Overall the trip is very relaxing. However, there was one incident not too happy. I was swimming at a beach and there were some local guys in their 20s at a further distance. They were speaking Spanish loudly and laughing. Since I don't know any spanish, I didn't pay much attention. Then one of a little girl (around 10 years old), she was with other kids near me, came to me and said "You don't speak spanish right? Do you speak English?" I said "I only speak English". She said " I think you'd better leave now, those guys saying that they hate Chinese and they are going to do something bad to you." I was very upset for a moment, and I said thank you to her. I can't believe this kinds of people still exist. Thank you very much for the little girl. And those guys should be so ashamed of themselve. Anyway, it is a brand new experience about traveling by myself. After all, I would never forget how great it feels when I was on a hammock sunbathing by the ocean with the wind caressing all over me :) 5/01 A friend came from Singapore on a business trip to NYC. He invited me to see 42nd Street (the Broadway Show, not just the street!) If u can only see 1 show in NYC. This is the ONE!! Wow, it's just Fabulous! Also, we went to a very special restaurant-Mars2112. To avoid line, u better don't go on weekend. I'm sure u'll have a wonderful time like us :)
