These shots are after the paint has been laid. The color is PPG Ultra Orange Pearl. First was a white base coat, three coats of orange, then a coat of clear. It came out pretty good, but the friends of mine who painted it for me did it on the side, after work, and they were ready to go home so they rushed it a bit and didnt get around a few of the edges. Overall it looks real good though.
The last shot here is the hood where we did a little modification. Those vents are where the air goes for the fresh air ventalation system (basically, your only A/C) and we customized the look a little bit with these holes. We're thinking about putting a small flat black hood scoop on it to make it a little more effective and look cooler too. I want to get one about the size of the hood scoop on a Subaru Impreza.
