Marc Vivien Foe
The 28-year-old Foe collapsed during Cameroon�s 1-0 semi-final win over Colombia on Thursday 26 June, and died shortly after the match. More than 3,000 mourners paid tribute to him and attended his burial at a sports complex he was constructing in Okoui, Yaounde.

The international star was buried with full national honours in the capital Yaounde.
Fifa World's top soccer officials also attended the funeral in Yaounde and gave their last tributes to the famous international player.

Foe's widow and Cameroon's Government and foreign dignitaries attend a church service in the Notre Dame des Victoires cathedral.
Knighted -
Before his burial, the star was knighted as a Commander of the Order of National Valour.
