The Flawed Pot
"Oh, Mom it is crap."
But something about it speaks to me
"The glaze has pot-holes."
It is a very small flaw,
You would hardly notice.
"The surface is so..."
Interesting?
Different from all the others
Maybe, this is what I like.
"It's not even big enough to hold coffee."
But it is the perfect size
For storing precious things.
Flawed pots, flawed people
Something,
Makes me love them best.

Thrown at a potter's wheel
By the center of my universe
Fashioned by two
Loving hands of daughter
The milky way of skies
Celestial light glowing
With promise of futures
Light beyond my life.
Creating good and beauty
By her very existence
A heavenly body on earth.
