| Rice cook as directed. you can add to soups, stir fry. and as a seperate dish. remember when you cook it that you can add tomatoe sauce to make a mexican style rice which goes good with those beans. or add chicken to it as it cooks to get some flavors from the bird for soup. these are very good ideal to add veggies of your choice. usual after cooking rice. you can add to soup. I alway make it smaller portion size. | |||||||||||||||||

| Celery soup Cut up a stalk of celery for sticks finger foods. I usual take the top and remove the leaves. and add them to salads. I chop the top portion for a soup pot. then I take the middle or large middle section for sticks and then chop the bottom. I do not eat the very bottom. I just cut that off. and then I add some carrots which to 2 cups celery which you will get from your stalk cutting. you can add up to 1/2 cup of carrots and I add several small herbs parsley and broccoli florals. I then boil them til soft to place in a blender when soft and you have Celery soup. add some no salt and pepper and maybe some garlic. makes two serving portions of about a cup each. the carrots help make it sweeter. |
