Aren't you smiling yet, then pleas record that (wejhak ma beyedhak lae regheef el sokhen :) )

Abou Mahmoud, Atyab fool we fateh be bar el sham kuloh. Abou Mahmood feeded me with his fool and smile since long, but when I visited him this year he wasn't wearing this smile. Kher abou Mahmoud, I asked. 'El ayam ma3at met el awal ya benti, ehhhh'  came his reply. If you happen to step in the sanctity of the old city of Damascus, it worth it to pay him a visit! believe me.

I went this year to his shop in the old bazaar of Aleppo to take a picture for him. Instead I bought this post card from the neighbor shop witch his owner made a good investment by selling a post card for his previous neighbor who passed away.

The following four pictures were taken by Mr. Quatli in a remote village in the north of Syria. The children where happy like nothing because he decided to take a picture for them. The overwhelming happiness in their faces makes me feel like I want to be a child born in a remote village. Unfortunately, no body asked me where I want to be borne.

Isn't she cute! And this navel! Oh my..

I won't say that her brother is also cute, but he possess such a sharp eyes!

And finally, an optimistic vision for the future. I caught them on the coast in 94.
