As they scrambled into the front room they were surprised to see their parents awaiting them, on the red sofa that their mother was so found of.
"We have decided to go to America this year." Their mother declared. Bethany was brown haired woman who had always wanted a family. Erica looked just like her mother with the same wavy brown hair and sparkling green eyes.
"We were going to go to Paris but after last years fiasco we thought going by plane would be a special treat." Their father said as he recalled the four hour delay on the train which made them miss the boat home. Zack who had dark hair looked more like Ben his father than his mother.
Two weeks later the time they had been waiting for had finally arrived. Everyone but Erica seemed to be excited about the trip. Two nights before she had, had a horrific dream that had been worrying her ever since. She had told her mother and father of her dream, that they would be killed on the way to America but her parents had shrugged off her warning. It was as if she had told them she had forgotten to buy a carton of milk from the shop.
"Stop being stupid Erica." Ben had said getting slightly annoyed with his daughter.
"You'll make us late now get in the car." Ben said firmly.
"Maybe she was being stupid." She had told herself as she entered the car.
As the plane took off Erica felt uneasy as she recalled her dream, The sudden jolt of the plane was all to real as the terrifying events from her dream became a cruel reality. Half an hour into the journey the long air craft suddenly came to a slow halt in the air. "We have run into some turbulence, however we will be on our way shortly. " The terrified look on the hostesses face said it all. As the plane started to plunge towards the ground. All she could do was watch the fear on her mother, father and brothers face's.
She felt the long machine turn over and over, with screams from the passengers. There was blood everywhere as the plane hung upside down.
Hours later a rescue team arrived. Only two people had survived the horrific ordeal, Erica and Zack.
The lonely words that came out of Erica's mouth were "I bet they wished they'd have listened to me now!"
