Yup I've managed to make another totally useless page dedicated to one of my many pets. This one's about my new betta that I bought on March 29th 2003. I was going to make a page for my angel fish but he died on March 20th of the same year. What makes it worse is that the stupid lady at the Kemptville "Love your pet" won't give me the guarante (yes I know I've just massacred that word) on him. She's evil, several friends and I have had problems with her in the past. Anyways on the way back from there, Laurie and I suddenly decided to go look at fish in an Ottawa Petsmart. Since I've moved into residence at Kemptville college several people I know have magically picked up an affinity for fish not long after I bought mine. After several rounds of the fish section in Petsmart we ended up at the Betta shelves. I've never been much of a fan of bettas. The one's I always see are just sitting there and how much fun can you have decorating a cup!? My fish addiction has grown in the last few years, I currently have a ten gallon and am looking at buying a 20 or more gallon after I graduate so I can actually be around to look after it as my dad has shown no interest in even cleaning the filter once in the month and a half that I'm usually gone for. Anyways after much cajoling on Laurie's part and repeatedly mentioning how cheap 3 bucks was for a fish (college student = broke, by the way you can survive on popcorn, don't let anyone tell you that you can't, I'm doing it right now) I finally relented and I now own a festive betta, he's all ready for easter. |
