\\~*~My Shattered Innocence~*~//
I like it when you hold my hand, let go and wash away in threads of rain that the pirates dance between but they lose us. And some silences are comforting, I remind myself, as you hold me tighter, little breaths make steam on a bathroom mirror, but I'll close my eyes because it's still me staring back, fading, even if you're holding on. There are so many things I could say to but they'll all hush quiet when you kiss me. Just on the cheek, it's smudged away now but it made me grin, for little while. Staring into your glass eyes just to see if your soul remembers but all I see is new storms. And you can hum any tune you want, because I don't hear you anymore. Too many voices telling me to let go, it never was, dontcha know?
