And how does this relate to your child?

You have 2 choices:

1. You can teach your child that the world is not fair, which is the truth,
like it or not, OR
2. You can try to make the world fair for your child, only to discover
that the world isn't fair and have to explain that to your child...

OK OK it's not as easy as that.

If you want to teach your child about fairness, how about teaching your child to BE fair, rather than to recognize unfairness? Why not explain that what some consider fair (the folks with the boats and friends and noodle salad), others consider unfair (the folks without)?
