O-Town started off as a television series...Making The Band. Out of thousands of guys, it was narrowed down to twenty-five people, and then eight: Bryan Chan, Jacob Underwood, Ashley Parker Angel, Mike Miller, Ikaika Kahoano, Erik-Michael Estrada, Trevor Penick and Paul Martin.

Finally, the final group was chosen! The lucky five were Erik, Trevor, Jacob, Ashley and Ikaika.

Ikaika soon decided to leave the band, so there was only four members: Jacob, Erik, Trevor and Ashley.

They were each asked individually, who they would want to be in the group. Without consulting each other, all the guys said Dan, who was from the final twenty-five. So Dan became a member of the band!

The final members of O-Town that we all know, are Trevor Penick, Dan Miller, Jacob Underwood, Erik-Michael Estrada and Ashley Parker Angel.

What ever happened to the other finalists after Making The Band? Well Ikaika, Mike and Bryan, got together with Matthew Morrison from Broadway's "Footloose", and formed a band called LMNT (pronounced element)
