Scene 1-Monica and Rachel’s apartment- everybody’s there. Monica and Chandler are on the couch, Rachel’s on the chair and the other’s are in the kitchen.
Rachel-Hey do you guys wanna watch T.V?
Phoebe-Nah, been there done that! (Other’s look at her like she’s flipped, but soon get over it)
Ross-I gotta prepare for a presentation at work. (Leaves)
Joey-No, I’m tired. I’m gonna go get some sleep, bye.
Others-Bye Joe, etc
Phoebe-I better go now, bye you guys
Others-Bye
Monica-I’ll watch T.V.
Chandler-Me too.
Rachel-What do you guys wanna watch?
Monica-Delia Smith!
Rachel-Yeah I guess I should learn how to cook something. Ross might teach me though… (Rachel trails off and gets lost in deep thought about Ross)
Chandler-Delia Smith is boring it’s just an old cook teaching others how to do stuff that she can do. (Sorry to anybody who likes Delia Smith I don’t like cooking shows. I have nothing personally against Delia Smith herself, coz I don’t know her, she could be a really nice person. OH the story!)
Monica-She is a very talented person
Chandler-Not so much as you!
Monica-Thanks
Chandler-Can we watch something else then?
Monica-NO!
Chandler-Please?
Monica-NONONONONONO! (Chandler hits Monica to get her to stop saying no, she hits him back and they get into a playfight, they fall off the couch and start rolling on the ground fighting. Chandler starts tickling Monica and she starts tickling him back. They both manage to get up and Chandler starts chasing Monica around the apartment they run around Rachel until Rachel shouts out for them to stop.)
Rachel-What was that?
Monica-What?
Rachel-You know!
Chandler-It was nothing, just a friendly argument. O.K?
Rachel-Fine…
Monica-Chandler if you wanna watch T.V, then watch at your place!
Chandler-FINE! (Chandler leaves) (Finally)
Scene2-Central Perk, Whole gang
Phoebe-Rachel told me about you guys (points at Chandler and Monica) and I totally think there’s something going on between you.
Joey-What? What happened?
Monica-Nothing!
Rachel-These two were acting like a couple last night. It was so obvious that they like each other!
Chandler-There’s nothing going on!
Monica-I gotta go! I can’t be doing with this!
Chandler-Same!
Ross-Now look you made them leave! Just leave them to go about their business how they want!
Phoebe-Do you not think they feel for each other?
Ross-Sure I do, but they’ll realise it soon.
Joey-How do you know?
Ross-They’ve taken longer than I did with Rach!
Phoebe-He’s right I can sense it they’re gonna get together soon.
Rachel-Do you wanna set them up?
Joey-Yeah! (They make a plan)
Scene 3-Chandler’s office Chandler’s there
Helen- (on intercom thing) There’s a note out here for you.
Chandler-could you bring it in please, I’m a bit busy.
Helen-Sure. (Helen brings it in Chandler reads it)
Chandler-Hmmm
Scene 4-Monicas work Monica’s cooking
Waitress-There’s a letter here.
Monica-Thanks (Monica reads it) Cool
Scene5-Monica and Rachel’s Monica’s there
(Monica’s getting ready for a date, she doesn’t know who she’s going out with, she thinks it’s a secret admirer)
Scene6- Chandler and Joey’s. Chandler’s there getting ready for his date, and he also thinks he has a secret admirer.
Scene7-Resturant Chandler and Monica are just entering separately. They both get told what table to sit at and it’s the same one.
Monica-Hi
Chandler-Hi
Monica-Do you think we’ve been set up?
Chandler-Yeah
Monica-You look great (Like always-I love Matthew Perry!)
Chandler-You too
Monica-Thanks, I’ve gotta tell you something and you have to promise not to laugh.
Chandler-Sure, what is it?
Monica-I kinda have feelings for you…
Chandler-Seriously? I have feelings for you! A lot!
Monica-Really? That’s so great!
Chandler-Let’s order
Monica-Sure
Scene8-Hallway between apartments Monica and Chandler are getting home
Monica-That was great fun, we should go out again!
Chandler-Or stay in!
Monica-What do you mean? (Chandler just looks at her and kisses her, she kisses him back, and it gets very passionate. Chandler pins Monica up against the wall, when Monica breaks the kiss)
Chandler-What? Was that the wrong thing to do? Am I a bad kisser?
Monica-No, You are a very good kisser! It’s just I don’t want anybody to see us kissing! Come into mine, Rachel’s going to Ross’ so we can lock the door and then nobody will get in. Rachel doesn’t bring her key with her anywhere.
Chandler-Kay!
Scene9-Monica and Chandler are in Monica and Rachel’s apartment
(They start kissing straight away, it is very passionate. Monica breaks the kiss, locks the door then goes over to Chandler. She kisses him and they go over to the couch. Chandler falls backwards onto it and Monica falls on top of him. Monica unbuttons Chandler’s shirt, and he breaks away)
Monica-What? Are you not wanting to do this?
Chandler-No I just wanted to make sure you do.
Monica-Yeah I sure do! (Monica kisses Chandler again. He unzips her dress after she has taken off his shirt. They don’t stop kissing through any of this. I’ll have to stop now coz I don’t believe in sex before marriage so I’m not about to go any further into it! Sex before marriage is against my religion-Christianity)
Scene10-The next morning-Monica’s Bedroom, Chandler and Monica are cuddling.
Chandler-That was amazing!
Monica-I know!
Chandler-Shouldn’t we get dressed?
Monica-No I just wanna stay here like this. I wanna stay like this forever!
Chandler-me too. But we have to move sometime!
Monica-in a while.
Chandler-Kay (They both hear a knock at the door it’s Rachel!)
Chandler-I’ll get it then she’ll find out about the best thing to happen to me
Monica-OK
Rachel-Open up! (Chandler gets it he’s in his clothes from the date)
Rachel-What are you doing here?
Chandler-Your plan worked!
Rachel-You and Mon?
Chandler-Yeah!
Rachel-I’m gonna tell the others, they all wanted you guys to get together! I’ll leave you two for now, we’ll come by in a few hours. You two can have a while longer together.
Chandler-Thanks.
