Matthew 24:26-27 ...for futher understanding. ------------------------------------------------- -- Mt. 24:26 �So if anyone tells you, `There he is, out in the desert,� do not go out; or, `Here he is, in the inner rooms,� do not believe it. Mt. 24:27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. -------------------------------------------------------- God is so good to us! See, God clearly tells us, that we will SEE WITH OUR EYES WHEN JESUS RETURNS. He is telling us clearly, not to believe in the rapture (Matthew 24:26). He tells us that if we hear of Jesus� return, ever, DO NOT BELIEVE, WE WILL SEE IT FOR OURSELVES AND KNOW.....for His return will be like lighting. --------------------------------------------------- And Revelation 20:5-6 ...for more understanding --------------------------------------------------- Re. 20:5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Re. 20:6 Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. ---------------------------------------------------- Finally, Reveleation 20:5-6 is speaking about the resurrection (not rapture) of Christian and those in the world. Okay, the first resurrection (at the end of the Tribulation) is for all Christians, both dead (resurrected) and alive (changed) only. Those who don�t belong to God, will remain until the end of the 1,000 year period (the Millennium period). See, God says....blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. God also says, the second DEATH (not resurrection) has no power over them. Then God says, they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. Again, God is clear here, when Christians are resurrected and changed, they will become priests of God and rein with Him for 1,000 years. It doesn't say we will do this in the future, after the Rapture. This statement "reign with Him for a thousand years" (Rev. 20:6) is immediately after the resurrected (where one is taken and the other left). Again, God, doesn't speak of two resurrections for Christians (one with the rapture and one when Jesus returns (as lighting). There is only one, at the end of the Tribulation when Jesus comes in the clouds (like lightning). Please realize there is absoluately no rapture, resurrection or anything which will remove anyone, whether Christian or non-Christian (except, of course, physical death), from the Tribulation which is, by the way, so very, very near.
